First AM animation assignment!

Ahh the good ol ball bounce exercise. Man, this was so much harder than I remember, I got to block this pretty quickly but made about a million passes at it to get it right! And I turned it in, and still had to make revisions! Ah well, done with it for now, then I'll come back later find something else to tweak.

  1. Hey Bobby, Looking good! Man, it's been a long time since I've done this exercise. What kind of blocking process did you go through for this? I know when I last did it I remember just moving things around. It's still hard to picture a blocking process for this. Man, I'm totally excited for you bro! Keep it up.

  2. Whatsup Dennis!

Thanks for takin a look. I guess by blocking I meant that I set and spaced out the up and down(contact) extreme keys. Then the rest of the time I was tweaking spline handles. I'm not sure how everyone else did it, but I tried to keep keys set just on the extremes, then use tangents to slow in and out(as opposed to setting more keys).

You should try it too again sometime man. It's actually pretty intimidating, because there's this pressure that because you've been doing animation for a while, your simple ball bounce has to be AWESOME! At least for me there was, I dunno, I had to work it over and over to get it to look right.
